Freelance artist from Zurich-Wollishofen For Cala Bongni-Spence, her passion for painting is still the source of her expressiveness and her elixir of life. Since 2009, she has followed her calling, painting. Her colorful pictures are probably rooted in a harmonious mixture of Caribbean abundance (Jamaica) and humane and peaceful Switzerland. The works of art are reminiscent of reggae music in picture form. The inspiration and flow of the heart, the healing nature with its luminous natural beauties, are essential to her. For the artist, people are a unique mystery. Her special enthusiasm and sensitivity are wonderfully expressed in her lively portrait painting. Her interest lies in the special radiance of the soul of this person, which she sees as a unique masterpiece of nature. She also likes to delve into animal and nature subjects or create creative symbolic images. Intuitive, energetic symbolic images are intended to invite the viewer to embark on a journey through the spheres and colors and to provide an enlightening experience. Her current preferred techniques are oil or mixed media. The art of Cala Bongni-Spence is a tribute to all forms of life that enrich earthly life and express the beauty of the quality of the heart.
